Meditation
Meditation is a dwelling in thought on some feeling, idea or object. In general practice, the meditator gathers his or her mind from its ceaseless wanderings and fixes it on an appropriate focus. The deep relaxation produced by this process regenerates the body and calms the mind, resulting in a profound healing. Meditation is a time to just stop and face oneself, to experience one’s inner being. Some define Meditation as “self-love” time.
Though the techniques vary, the deeper purpose of all meditations is to awaken the practitioner to a state of clarity and awareness, so that one can discover and access one’s greatest potential and one’s highest good.
