Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle hands-on healing approach originating in the osteopathic tradition. The practitioner utilizes the subtle rhythm of spinal fluid motion as it is transmitted along fascial planes throughout the body to diagnose and treat. Release of recent and old traumas which are frequently stored in the fascia as traumatic memories facilitates physical and pyschoemotional healing. Conditions that frequently respond well to this therapeutic modality include: acute musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain conditions associated with accidents and physical and sexual abuse and a variety of stress exacerbated dysfunctions of the autonomic nervous system.
